My life can now be divided into pre-house-flood and post-house-flood. (Three weeks later, and they were still doing demolition yesterday. *sigh* So we won’t be moving our belongings back into the house anytime in the next few months.)

Wait…Any Workshop???
What about Your Live Lost Your Pants Class?
I don’t usually offer my Lost Your Pants workshop OnDemand because it comes with so many tools. Instead, I typically present the class live in October to coincide with pre-NaNoWriMo preparations.
However, this year I was busy in October with my newest workshop, Between the Sheets: Create a Deeper Romance with the Romance Beat Sheet. No problem, I thought, I’ll just offer it in December.
And then our house flooded 3 weeks ago…
Now, most of our house has been packed up and put into storage for the duration of the major reconstruction that’s expected to take 2-3 months. (On our first floor, we lost all our flooring, a bunch of the drywall, some kitchen cabinets, and half our furniture.)
My webinar headset/microphone is in a random unmarked box somewhere in the stuffed-to-the-gills storage unit (emergency packing doesn’t allow for organization), my laptop is set up on a folding table in the bedroom, and construction noise and mess will only make everything worse. In other words, there’s no way I can give a live class anytime soon.
But not to worry! I figured out how to offer my Lost Your Pants? The Impatient Writer’s Guide to Plotting a Story workshop in an OnDemand format this month by sharing last year’s live webinar recording along with an updated-for-this-year handout. *grin*
